Our Firm

Our firm is based on service to our clients.  As a full service, independent financial advisory firm, we practice the motto of "Service Above Self" both in our work and in our community.  

Independence

One of the biggest benefits we provide is our independence.  We market no products of our own and have no special arrangements with product vendors.  Our advisors concentrate on understanding our client's individual financial needs and goals; then providing objective advice and solutions to meet those needs and goals.  We spend a great deal of time and effort researching and understanding the most current tax law and financial solutions, so our clients receive the most up to date financial advice available. 

Integrated Approach

We take an comprehensive, integrated approach to the advice we offer.  This means that all aspects of our clients' financial lives are considered when addressing any specific issue.  The coordination of client solutions is vital to helping our clients succeed financially.  Working with our clients' CPAs, accountants, attorneys and other advisors, our goal is to address all aspects of a partciular situation prior to recommending a solution.  Additionally, our advisors are supported by partners and specialists who provide technical expertise in the various disciplines of financial planning.  

How we get paid

Keeping client costs and fees low is a primary goal.  We are staunch advocates of the unbiased, fee based or fee only advisory planning model because we believe it best serves our clients.  Through our due dilgence process, we use products and solutions that are reasonably priced and aligned with each individual client's goals and objectives.  Below are the three ways we are compensated: 

1) flat or hourly fee for financial plans and consulting 

2) fee based (asset charge) fee for most investment management 

3) commission for insurances and specialty products, (paid by the product provider)
